Pallagrello bianco

Pallagrello is one of the few grape varieties we encounter in both black and white versions. In our case it is grown with pergola and guyot type training systems on clay soil with limestone stones present from 50 cm up to 2 meters, an area explored by the roots.

Pallagrello Bianco is a wine with typical varietal aromas that recall the fragrant notes of the Mediterranean scrubland (broom flowers, hawthorn, grapefruit), on the palate it is a firm, structured wine with a long persistence due also to the resting, after vinification, on fine lees that are put in suspension once a week thus realizing a sort of “bâtonnage” in tank. Pallagrello bianco is bottled between March and April and is available in May after the year of its vinification.
